These are pretty, and small in size. The studs look like the size of ones you use to get after your ears are pierced.The reason I only give it 3 stars is because the pin is not deep enough. They come in different lengths for different purposes, as seen in the photo. Therefore, to be fair, I measured the longest pins in this package compared to those of the stainless steel studs I got from a tattoo/piercing parlour when I got my ears pierced (lobes and cartilage), so that I only compare the studs in this pack that are supposed to be used on the ears. These studs are 2 mm shorter in depth than the ones I got from the parlour.These earrings are advertised as for the cartilage, and not the lobes, so you could argue that that's the reason the pin is shorter. However, the ones I got from the parlour are the same length for the cartilage and my lobes (and they fit comfortably), and they are 2mm longer than the longest ones in this package (mine are 6mm long).I recommend these earrings if you need short pinned, flat-back studs, that are hypoallergenic because of the surgical steel covered in 14K gold. I confirm that the quality of the metal is good (I have a lot of skin sensitivities and these were fine on me...my issue is just the size).P.S. Each package only comes with studs for ONE ear/side of your body. You need to buy 2 packages if you want a matching set.

Some of these are very subtle (2mm is incredibly small) but the 4mm is brilliant and eye catching. Rings were a decent size. Heart is smaller than I expected but still large enough to make out. Bars were long enough for my nose piercing.Threadless, and do a good job of staying in.
