Having previously purchased a similar set ( which have performed reasonably well, but are now failing ), I was pleased to notice this 2-pack of aftermarket 18V Batteries ( see photo ), which work very well in my various older 18V DeWalt tools. I can also confirm that the batteries fit snugly, and charge well, in my DC9310 fast charger.The two Batteries feature; a variety of voltage/current/charge/heating protections and wide compatibility with numerous 18v DeWalt devices as listed within the text.Unlike my other set, the design, fit, and finish appear to be of much higher quality, especially the release button/clips, which are solid and work well. Recommended.

These batteries fit snugly in my DeWalt 18V tools and charger, and so far, performance is comparable to my originals. They charge without overheating and provide good runtime under regular use. Build quality seems solid—especially the release clips, which feel sturdier than some other aftermarket options I’ve tried. That said, I’m skeptical about the claimed 5Ah capacity—it doesn’t seem to last quite as long as it should.

These batteries have been working as well as my original DeWalt 18 V batteries did. They charge quickly without getting too hot, and fit my tools perfectly. They seem to last just as long as my original Dewalt did, and the tools perform just as well as they did with new DeWalt batteries. It’s too soon to speak towards their longevity, but so far I’m impressed and can recommend them.

These batteries are extremely disappointing. They are advertised as having a capacity of 5Ah and a lot of protection, so I decided to verify this claim.Using an electronic load, I applied a precise 1A load to the batteries. Given the advertised capacity of 5Ah, I expected the batteries to last for 5 hours under a 1A load. However, during my test, they lasted only 2 hours at 1A. This indicates that the actual capacity is only 2Ah, far below the advertised 5Ah.Also, the seller claims that this battery has many protections:- Overcurrent protection- Overcharge protection- Overheating protection- Over-discharge protection- Short circuit protection- Overvoltage protectionEverything is a lie. There's no electronic board inside the battery, just look at my picture. All these protection features are 100% false.For this reason, I only give them a rating of 2 stars out of 5, exactly the same ratio of 2Ah out of 5Ah. Minus 1 stars for the false advertising about the protection. In reality, these batteries only deserve 0 star, but the minimum I can put is 1 star.

These are as close to originals as you can realistically expect. They fit really well in the tools as well as the charger. These are a great and economical way to wring a bit more life out of those old DeWalt tools.

The batteries comes fully charged and does work with my DeWalt XRP drills and other tools. But problems came about when I went to charge them. The contact nodes and shape of the stem are off somewhat from original. So when charging on the DeWalt charger, you have to really jam the battery down in the holder to make contact to charge. As a consequence, it is really hard to get out. You have to pry it out. Very inconvenient and if you are of slight strength, next to impossible. I have bought an aftermarket 3rd party battery before for DeWalt and have not had this problem.But I guess this experience shows the trade-off for getting a lower cost option
