vastly exceeds my expectations. These batteries are SUBSTANTIALLY less money than actual Dewalt. They work really well. I find I am using my 12 volt Dewalt at least as much or perhaps more than my 20 volt. Lighter weight, compact size and now extended battery life really point me to my 12 volt

These are surprisingly good aftermarket batteries for the 12v dewalt system.These perform well perhaps not quite as long as brand new Dewalt batteries.But you cant beat the price, they are $25 each.

A single OEM DeWalt 5Ah 12V Battery is $99 on sale while two of these AMICROSS 6Ah 12V batteries are only $47.99 with coupon so $24 each. That's 75% less than the OEM DeWalt DCB126 battery which makes the price of these batteries compelling.While the price is certainly right the performance is not quite the same as the DeWalt OEM Battery and the Longevity is Unknown. I have purchased many generic third party batteries for my DeWalt and Milwaukee tools and found that they don't have the same performance under heavy current draw as the OEM Batteries and definitely don't last as long.These AMICROSS batteries are 100% compatible with my DeWalt 12V drill and 12V Impact. They fit perfectly in both the tools and several different chargers I have. I have no complaints on the fit, finish and build quality of these batteries. They look good, fit well and work well.••• Perforamnce •••On the performance side, these batteries work well however under load they don't perform as well as the OEM DeWalt 5Ah battery despite being rated at 6Ah. That's not to say that they are no good. They are good but just not as good as the OEM DeWalt battery. When you factory in the price then the value of these batteries vs performance really shines. You get 85% of the perfomance at 25% of the price. That's a tradeoff I am willing to accept.••• Longevity •••I have DeWalt batteries that are more than 10 years old and still work well even today. They have been dropped from ladders, left in the van in the frozen winter and still continue to work. While their capacity has diminished a little over the years they still are usable batteries and work well. By contrast the oldest Generic third party battery I have is just over two years old. While it still works, the performance has degraded much more than the 10 year old OEM DeWalt battery. Most of the third party generic batteries I have tried don't last more than two years and some have even died in less than 6 months.••• Over Charging/Heating Protection •••I have never had a generic third party battery overheat or catch on fire while in use or charging however I have seen third party batteries do just that. Factory OEM Battery Packs have sophisticated circuit boards that help prevent fires. Most generic batteries don't have this same level of protection. This is the first AMICROSS battery pack I've tried so I cannot say one way or the other what type of protection is designed inside the circuitry ... all I can say is this may or may not be important to you and should be taken into consideration whenever purchasing any third party battery.••• Who's this Battery For? •••This battery is an excellent choice for someone who uses his tools infrequently and needs a couple extra batteries. These batteries are perfect for someone who is hard on his tools and doesn't keep them very long replacing them every few months or year or two. This battery is good for someone who loses their tools, misplaces batteries or had a history of getting their tools stolen. These batteries are also good for someone who borrows or loans their tools out. These batteries are perfect for the DIY'er. I would recommend these batteries for any of the persons or use applications described.If you are a pro, that uses your power tools continuously throughout the day, everyday then these batteries might not meet your performance expectations and may not last as long as you like.Overall I would recommend these batteries. They are inexpensive, 100% compatible and work well. For the price of $24 they are worth the price you are paying as long as your expectations are reasonable.
