Very light stand and not sturdy enough to mount video lights or soft boxes. I returned the product through purolator and still haven't received the refund. Overall bad experience.

Definitely great value for the price, not the most sturdy but did the job well and I’d purchase this again

I got tired of people walking in front of my camera when streaming my kids games. So I went up. It is well built and comes with a nice case.

These stands were bought for a projector screen. They worked ideal and made a quick l brackat hooked on to the portable protector screen and the protothey are lightweight. Easy to transports have a few universal features. Standard quarter and fitting for the audible cameras as well These tripods could use a weight and a positive lock on the leg system.Good choice for portablegallery

I do a lot of cinematography and photography work and also work in a studio each week.Of course there are much heavier duty professional level light stands out there, but when you just need a light stand that quickly sets up and is fairly durable and sturdy, this is great for mobile shoots.Even in a studio they do a fairly good job. There may be times where you might want to throw a sandbag on them depending on what lights you're mounting.Overall though, the metal and the structure design is well done and sturdy enough for most of the work I do. The legs extend out quite a bit, giving the light stand even more strength and sturdiness. It's a great value for the money, especially if you're on a budget.

I have purchased such stands before but they were very unstable, this one seems to be very stable and strong

Great stand for a good deal. Ships fast. I was impressed by how easily I could switch around the settings and make it higher or lower.

We were looking for a tripod style stand for our lights and this one is super sturdy and has the right amount of weight to it. It isn't super heavy but isn't so light that it blows over with a little gust of wind. The first order did not arrive with the carrying bag and the attachment despite it being written in the product name, description, and being shown in the photos. However, the seller quickly made it right and sent it right over. While it was a shame it have to wait for the rest of the items to be shipped, errors happen and I'm glad they were so quick to respond. Plus, the items that came the second time around were superb. The bag will hold the stand really well and is not some cheap material which we were relieved to find out.The price is good for the item with the bag included. The bag will come to good use if we need to bring it while travelling. Everything about the item is great for us.

This is an ok light stand that works as advertised. Nothing fancy, but functions as intended.I do like the oversized adjustable knobs which makes tightening and loosening as easy and as comfy as it can be. I love the spring inside the tubing, so accidentally dropping the column sections no longer slams down! That’s really nice. I also love the height of the stand, which has excellent reach. Note that, the stand does feel more unstable at its maximum height. I don’t intent to extend it that much under my style of usage, so not a big deal for me. When keeping the stand at a reasonable typical lighting height, the stand actually feels quite stable and the wide 3 legged base helps a lot.The larger tubing is a great selling point and certainly looks heavy duty, but they unfortunately feel a little flimsy and in fact, dents quite easily. I tightened the 3 legged base to the center column but already leaving behind little dimples caused by the tightening screw. The material used is reasonably light, but yes, feels a bit thin at the same time. Nonetheless, as long as I keep the load under the maximum rating, then the stand works as promised, despite the slightly cheap flimsiness I constantly being reminded of.The overall construction and plastics used is on the cheap side, but does accurately reflects its price point.Only time will tell whether the stand would hold up well during use. For the money, this stand is as expected - not bad, but not great either.

These were much sturdier than anticipated. The integral spring really allowed me to relax, knowing that a sudden drop can hurt any gear I might have attached, that heavy spring absorbs a ton of shock. The tripod closes nice and tight, and the legs fold into the tri-base with a satisfying clicks, I know the legs wont drop out of position until I need them to!The carry bags are very nice, and simple. Strong handle stitching, and the interior is a silky nylon.

I have been through a lot of stands. These seem okay for the price. Hopefully they last longer than my old ones. I find the knobs to be the biggest issue with any stand but this is good.
