I filled a sink with 1" of water and within 5 minutes the sink emptied. Gasket is not tight fitting on my drain pipe which is 34mm. With the "bouncing head" pop up the sink drained 1" of water in 12 seconds. The stopper drain opening is 24mm.Stainless steel? I tested it with a magnet it did not stick, however, 304 stainless steel is for the most part non magnetic. My sample arrived with only 1 33mm ring. Build quality is okay for what you are paying. As for "gas" I believe every sink/tub/shower/ in Canada by code is supposed to have p-trap, preventing sewer gas coming into the house.

These work great. I am replacing ones that were similar to these, but these are made much better, I love the screen for hair, which is a great design. Blends perfectly with the decor in the bathroom, and you simply drop in and go. Great price point and very happy with the product!

These fit so perfect in my sink and I had bought some before from somewhere else and they would not fit so I was kind of worried this wouldn’t fit, but these are exactly the right size. They definitely make things so convenient because in our house, we have a lot of long hair people so there’s hair trapped in there a lot of times and you have to bring out that snake. This just makes life easier. You can just clean it every once in a while. And it’s so nice and easy to use because you just press it and it comes up. Also, if you wanna keep the sink from draining, you just press it down and it actually works. It doesn’t let any liquid go down. I definitely recommended as a very durable and good quality item.

Fit my drain well with a fairly good seal around. Doesn't pool up water (since the top of the drain is now higher) like some others I've used. The mesh filter is a little too long for my sink drain that has an X through the middle. Something to keep in mind. The overall body is plastic which is a bit of a letdown as the product does say stainless steel (further information in the pictures indicate the body is ABS so not technically misleading). One negative I found is that the drain doesn't pop up very high and is a fairly small hole to begin with so water does end up pooling as the drain struggles to keep up. This may or may not be an issue depending on your water flow rate.

The listing for these pop up drain stoppers is super misleading.1) The very first words in the title are "Stainless Steel Floor Drain Filter," and the description states, "suitable for shower tubs" which is what I ordered them for. This is not at all the case. The portion of the drain that actually pops up is roughly the size of a quarter. This may be suitable for a small sink but certainly not a floor/ shower drain or larger sink.2) The listing photo definitely makes the pop up portion look far larger than a quarter. I would say 3x larger, in fact.3) The item description states:"【Premium Material】The Pop Up Sink Made of thickened premium 304 stainless steel and brass, solid and built to last structure with flat and comfortable touching finish. Proven durability after rigorous durability tests, rust-proof and no water leakage for a longer service time."Note, it's doesn't say anywhere on the product page that the majority of the product is made from chrome painted plastic! There's nothing premium or durable about that.Three strikes, you're out!Bottom line, I got these for free as part of the Vine program and still 100% returned them. Wouldn't recommend at all.

These units are too small and would require purchasing a complete new drain system. I THOUGHT ABOUT SENDING THEM BACK, BUT FEEL THE SHIPPING COST WOULD BE TOO MUCH.I take the loss as the cost was so small and I have purchased so much from Amazon, you have been great to purchase with and look forward to future purchases.

Got this to replace an old stopper that no longer moved. It is great to have the option to only replace the stopper without the cost and effort of having to change the whole faucet. The product is well-made and has a quality finish. It matches the existing hardware perfectly. Installation is laughably simple: just remove the old stopper and pop this one in. The hardest part is actually removing the old mechanism, which requires under the sink time. The seal is pretty good as long as the included gasket is used. This is a useful product that helps restore functionality to older sinks, it looks good and works well. Recommended!

This drain filter fit easily into my standard bathroom sink and readily formed a tight enough seal to hold water in the basin. The pop-up plug works nicely and is easy to use. The whole thing does feel a little flimsy but at two for $10 I'm not expecting much and they work well enough. The biggest drawback to me is that the drain barrels are rather small and so water drains fairly slowly. If I have water running at much more than 30% flow, water will accumulate and pool in the basin even with the plug "wide-open". If you are washing up, this allows soap bubbles/scum to stay in the basin longer and may lead to more deposits over time. However, it is an effective way to protect your drain from the wrong things slipping down the drain. I just wish it would empty faster.

Dunno how this happened, there’s 2 pieces to it but I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be 1 solid piece or whether I need to put it together

UPDATED REVIEW: Reduced to 3-stars as there are no instructions. Refer to the product listing for installation. Do not remove the original drain band of your sink, this is supposed to go right over it *IF* you have precisely the single type of drain assembly for which this will actually work. Newer bathrooms are a likely NOPE. Fabulous concept, failure on communicating product limitations.NOTE: If your current drain has a "pop-up" type plug that you need to unscrew to remove, or a built-in "X" trap, this item will NOT work without first replacing the entire drain assembly. Again: NO INSTRUCTIONS and no qualifier that it wont work for these drain assemblies.

This stainless floor drain is a great replacement for my current drain which I find difficult to close and open with the latch behind the faucet. This drain is a push away from closing and opening so it's extremely convenient. Not much of a struggle to fit into my drain. It has the same finish as the original stainless steel drain so it doesn't look odd in the sink. The removable filter basket traps the hair but I'm guessing that it'll clog over time but it's removable so doesn't need to be attached to the drain. Such a great value at this price point of $14.99 for two which is comparable to the big box inferior products.
