Works fine. Powers my original 85 NES. I assume by the weight (super light) that it's using HF SMPS, which is tiny, so why have it in a giant wall wart case? The cables are too short as well. Another couple feet would be nice.

It try to look like the original, but it feels extremely cheap, extremely light and looks like a fire hazard more than anything...

i ordered this because i need a power adapter for my sega genesis and wow would you look at that it doesnt fit in the slot even though it said it would..

the size of the wall wart is not a sign of how much electronics is inside the device. when i picked it up, it was waayyyyy lighter than i would have expected, especially compared to oem nintendo equipment. but it does work for my original NES, so thats a win! i opened it up and took a look inside (not while it is plugged in obviously) it was neat to see how much they shrunk the components. definitely could have been in a smaller wall wart, but works exactly as described.
