We have all had a round with a plunger or a snack at one point or another. Usually they do the job, but there is nothing enjoyable about the process. This is such a simple idea, but it's brilliant. Attach your hose. insert in drain and turn on the water. The bladder fills, closes off the drain, and the pressure builds forcing out your blockage.Maybe more effort with having to get a hose, but a lot less mess and fuss than a snake or plunger. And no nasty chemicals down the drain either. As soon as I saw these I thought, yes! I need those. I have not needed them yet, but I am ready!

I didn't have any blockages to unclog yet, but the build quality of these tools is definitely good enough for occasional use. The rubber is pretty thick and should work well to clean the sides of the pipe. There is a hole in the center for the pressurized water to clean the area in front of it.The fittings are stamped brass.I'm glad to have these tools on hand for when the need arises.

These arrived in a zipper baggie, which makes them easier to store, but my baggie had a hole in it, so perhaps a hard plastic container would have been a better choice. The measurements match the listing, the rubber feels flexible, and they each have a rubber gasket in the connectors to help the garden hose seal when tightened. I think a bonus feature is that each one has their intended pipe diameters molded into the rubber (see my photo), but it would have been easier to read if they had coated that text with white paint and/or used a larger font. I don't have any clogged pipes to test them on right now, but I feel confident they will work when needed. The only risk I can think of with this type of device is if the water pressure gets too high before clearing the clog, it could pop apart weak pipe connections, causing a major leak. It's probably safest to turn the hose on a low setting and be patient to minimize the pressure.

I used the large of these to unclog a pvc storm drain. It worked like a charm. I attacked a hose, slid the bladder in, turned on the hose and in a matter of a minute or two the clog was cleared. Super easy to use and worked like a charm for my application.

So far so good! Managed to open a sewer line that has had me stumped for a while. Hoping I have it all the way opened now. It was easy to use, except when it needed to turn a corner. I found it fairly easy to use especially from a first-time self-plumber. Updates later if drain stays clear.

Full disclosure, I haven't used this set yet, bought it as a backup because I had to unclog a drain not too long ago and this was the only thing that worked. That said, I tested it out with a hose, and everything is operating as it should, no rips or tears, seals are solid, I don't anticipate any issues.

I had a bladder set, lost the middle size, and the large size the rubber cracked. These help with clearing the downspouts, drain pipes, and flocking the water in one of the overflow pipes from the pool to the attached spa. I often will drain the spa either for cleaning. And even with having the filter return valves closed , as the water level goes down in the spa, water from the pool begins to flow back into the spa via the overflow pipe. I can use the bladder to keep the water from coming back in and get the spa empty to remove any calcium buildup. Just can't loose them before the rainy season returns so I can use it with the downspouts and drain pipes.
