It was a quarter the price of an OEM part. So for that price difference I can accept a lot of poor manufacturing or sloppiness in the steering. It came with hardware and bolted right in. I find the steering is a bit sloppy as in there is more play in the steering. Just see how long the U joints last... This is an update to my previous review. The steering in my truck after just one month of the shaft being installed has gotten significantly worse, it has a ton of slop in the steering. Meaning small inputs to the steering wheel make no changes to the tires. I removed the part the other night to check it and the U joints already have quite a bit of play in them. I double checked the bolt tightness after I re installed it. I would absolutely not recommend this part to anyone I think it’s dangerous and I’m not driving my truck until it’s replaced with an OEM part, yes the Dorman part is 3 times the cost on Amazon and 4 times the cost at my local parts distributor but in my opinion the steering linkage is such a safety critical part that I would not recommend using a “cheaper or a lower cost part as it shows in manufacturing”

Was great quality at a fraction of the cost of oem, fit perfect on my 2006 f150 4x4 with no struggle, some people were complaining about the bolts being cheap weak metal, 8.8 bolts are not cheap weak metal. Very happy with this product

Used on a 2007 f-150 arrived fast , was a chore to put on . Had to remove oil filter to get at bottom bolt . Lower joint was a bit stiff but doesn’t seem to affect steering I will wait and see how it is working in a few months . Overall it was a good deal compared to the dealer

I bought this despite some reviews stating it didn't last since the price is literally 1/4 of that of an OEM or Dorman part. I installed it in August, used the truck throughout the winter including for snow plowing and I have had no problems at all with it. It installed easily but I re-used the Ford OEM bolts since the ones that come with it are crap. I would buy again.

Fits perfectly on my 2098 f150. I have only had it on my truck for a few weeks but it is working fine and the price can't be beat.
