The weight of this record adapter is 52-53 grams, and the diameter is 38mm (1.5"). The center bore fits on any standard 7.5mm platter spindle. It seems to be harmonically inert, since tapping it does not produce any tuning fork ringing tone. The finish is a bead blast matte silver, and my pictures don't do it justice.I think it's good to mention this is "not really a record weight" to hold a 7" record down on the turntable platter, although it can be used this way. It's actually meant to be used a bit different. The top is tapered to allow records (without the funny plastic insert) to be lowered down onto the platter "over" the adapter for fast and convenient record changes.I like it, and can now dig out some of those old 7" singles!

This turntable adapter for 7 inch records arrives encased in foam and is generally well packaged. The silver finish was flawless as well, with no noticeable scuffs or damage to the enamel. The adapter itself has a decent amount of heft to it, which in turn allows it to perform its one job perfectly. Whether just casually listening to 45's, or practicing juggles & scratches as a turntablist, the records stay put without issue -- leaving no gap between the adapter and vinyl. In retrospect, I do wish I had gone with the black finish option, but the silver look does better match the standard colour of Technics and Vestax decks at least. Either way, I don't think you can go wrong with this adapter choice, and it is very reasonably priced to boot. Recommended.
