This product is a piece of hot garbage! I was hopeful with the good review but clearly they got the unicorn of the batch. It’s not just one tier that was a bit defective, no, all of them were. Nothing fit together. Mind you I’m not hulk, but when I put the book stopper in one of the plank it just split in half! I’m not useless with my hands and I could not salvage this, not for the insane price compared to the mediocre quality.

Very cool concept, nice design. However, it's one of those things that's "good from far, but far from good."Product arrived damaged (one of the wooden disks was cracked). I had to glue it back together before building the shelf. Assembly is easy, but force must be used to insert the tabs which causes another disk to break.For something that arrives damaged, is easily damageable upon assembly and is not even finished (wood needs to be sanded in rough splintery areas like corners / edges), I would pay max half of what this sells for.

This item is easier to assemble with another person. Some areas of the wood pieces needed to be sanded down to fit better. Once put together the screws will help with keeping the a solid piece. Love the rotation aspect of this. Very happy with it.

My daughter wants to paint this in rainbow colours. I want to stain it dark walnut. We agreed to compromise and buy a second one for her birthday.I paid $160 on a 5-tier tower, which is a great price for the finishing options softwood has. Note the design is modular so if you buy two 5-tier towers, you can set up one 4-tier and one 6-tier. (i.e. To ensure you have each colour of the rainbow.)Do predrill your screw-holes. This wood is under half an inch thick (11mm to be exact), so don't risk it splitting by not predrilling.

Wow! I wish I had found this years ago. Soo many books fit on it (including those large 5 minute story books that really take 15 minutes). I was easy to to put together by myself. The wood is thick and heavy so it's really stable. I have it in the corner of my son's room and it saves soo much space! It's easy for him to turn himself (7) and find whatever books he wants.

Very pleased with this book shelf. It was easy to assemble and fits a deceivingly large number of books, saving so much space in my home! Super happy with my purchase and I plan to buy more for my kids rooms.
