After only light use over the past year, the battery has started giving me alert lights, reseating the battery, multiple power adapters and no change. Tried a different battery from same model and it worked with no issues. disappointed.

I bought it for my dell E6420. Apparently, it is not compatible. I charged the battery to 100 percent. But then when I disconnected the power cable, my laptop lost power immediately.I check the connections, the battery is well placed, restarted the laptop and again I minute later it had a complete power loss. Then I put my old battery, and everything was ok. I switched back to the new battery and again same problem. I tried on my second laptop which is same model and again, with the new battery the power is lost after a minute and the laptop shutdowns completely. It is like there is a security feature that shutdowns each time my laptop for no reason.

I switched my 65wh battery with the 97wh Titanium battery on my dell latitude. I have gotten triple the battery life on my unplugged laptop. Just imagine going from 30 minutes of battery life to 90 minutes on an unplugged laptop.
