This worked good, no more squealing OEM motor. this unit rotates to lock into position via locking tabs and install the one securing screw. Fit: The securing screw hole was a bit off. The clocking position was fine, but inboard of the base circle wasn’t. I had to remove and modify hole slightly to install the screw. From start to finish in just under 20 minutes. Good value.

I did not take the blower out before ordering this one. The "check fit" said it was compatible with my 2011 Kia Optima 2.4L Gas Engine but it was not. This one looks like you twist the housing in place to seat and hold it with a single screw. The one I took out is a flush mount with three screw holes to mount. I ordered the one that looks exactly like the one I pulled out even though the "check fit" says it is not compatible....I going to take my chances! My eyes still work!

I ordered this blower motor on a Friday and it was delivered the next day. Very fast shipping. I replaced the DEAD Blower Motor in my daughters 2012 Hyundai Sonata. The new blower motor was easy to install and my daughter is happy she has heat again. I am very pleased with this purchase.
