I’ve been using aquarium sand for years and this is like muck when it’s wet. Half of it floats away when you rinse it. It’s barely thicker than powder. I’m afraid to even put this in my tank because it will probably destroy the filter.

Standard aquarium sand. Very black and fine but gritty still. Used it to build a cave aquascape

I lost most of it cleaning it before putting in the tank. I ended up just putting it in and letting my filter sort the floating balls and then just rinsed filter. Looks OK but not a lot of it

Looks great but wish I would have bought 2 bags for my 45 gal, 1 bag definitely doesn't do it.
