AquaVial allows you to see what is in your water quickly; pour the water into the provided test vials to see if the water changes colour. If the water turns yellow, it is safe; if the water turns purple, E.coli or coliform bacteria are present (colour chart provided). AquaVial can detect as little as 1 CFU/ml of E.coli and coliform bacteria and is very reliable.
AquaVial is a cost-friendly option that identifies water quality issues before becoming a severe health hazard; the box contains 4 coliform/E.coli tests. It can be used to test the your tap and well water, water in pipes, showers, pools or hot tubs to ensure total microbial levels are safe and can be stored for up to 2 years (unlike standard test strips, which last for one year).

Worked fine. Would be nice to have it pre-labeled to show the start and end date and time. Easy to use and know the level of e coli that one may have in the test sample.

Einfache Handhabung. Das Ergebnis erscheint plausibel, zumal Referenzproben mit keimfreiem und verseuchtem Wasser richtig angezeigt wurden. Aus meiner Sicht für einen quantitativen Test zu einem vernünftigen Preis geeignet.

When I bought my new house, a lab tested the water in my well lightly positive to E Coli. Before and after disinfecting and submitting another sample for expensive analysis, I wanted to self test at lower cost. Some weeks passed between the lab test and mine. I did nothing ( no disinfection) before self testing because I wanted to check if this kit would give similar results as the lab. But there was no detection of E Coli . So I'm not sure if the kit works.

Successfully found bacteria coming from my reverse osmosis water filter system. After disinfecting the tap after the last stage of the filter using a de-calcification liquid I tested the water again and there were no more indications of bacteria, also the water now tastes better/perfect.
