I planted 100 bulbs, tulips and narcissus in around 3 hours. This chore would have taken me three days in the past as my soil is hard to dig, especially to 6". I used the small auger and by simply moving it up and down I could make the holes larger - these were huge bulbs. If you love spring flowers like I do, this tool is a must have. Highly recommend it .

Bought these to plant over 100 bulbs, worked great. Even under trees with roots to contend with. Made very quick work of a tedious task.

Le but était de m'éviter d'avoir mal au dos en plantant mes bulbes. Même avec un bon outil (Dewalt), j'avais de la difficulté à creuser dans la terre compacte et glaiseuse. Dans la nouvelle terre, ça allait très bien, mais j'aurais eu de la facilité aussi avec une simple pelle à main à cet endroit...

I think these will be fine in soft soil.After using these little augers for more than a month, I can't imagine having to live without them!! I love these things!!!!

Used this with my drill to put holes in the ground to plant some sunflower seeds. Worked so much easier than a shovel.

Love this auger. It is my favorite new tool. Digs holes quickly and easily. Proceed slowly in areas with roots and rocks so you don't hit an obstacle while digging at high speed because it will twist your wrist.

I have a lot of rookie soil and trying to pull weeds out of it is impossible. I used the smaller one to loosen up the roots and get them out of my yard.It works great to make planting holes for my plants.
