CV Joint Ear Clamp Banding Tool

CV Joint Clamp Plier

▪ Handles on both side are able to rotate 360 degree.
▪ With built-in cutters and winders, the banding can be tightened and cut quickly and effectively.
▪ Installation:
1. Wrap free-end clamps 3/8"" or 1/4"" roll band and clip around and clip around boot.
2. Place a 1/2"" ratchet wrench on the winding mandrel and turn. When sufficient tension has been applied, rotate the tool over the boot, bending the band back onto the clip.
3.It applies tension and has a built-in cutter.
4. To complete clamping, fold down the remaining tail of the band into the clip and secure it by tapping down the ears of the clip.

Both these tools work perfectly and simple instructions on how to operate the complicated one would be appreciated but once figured out, works perfectly.

Overall decent product. It isn’t snap on by any means but for the price it is well constructed and if looked after will last a long while with occasional use. It worked well and did what it was supposed to do. Again I may only use this tool once or twice a year to replace cv boots on my atv. If you intend to use this daily you may want to invest in a more premium tool. At the time when I purchased this. It seemed like the best quality for the money.

I had to modify it by removing the snipping arm. This way I could band then bend insert the arm and snip

The pliers feel like a decent quality tool, havent had to use the other yet. The extra bands may come in handy in the future. Crimped 4 clamps and it made the job easy
