Easily removable for storage. Perfect size. Love this trash holder for my fly tying bench. Not overly large while being able to hold a lot of trashed material. Made of durable material. Working great!

Just received this fly tying waste basket. It's very good quality for the price. It seems they have resolved the weak magnet issue that was mentioned in previous posts. The magnet on my unit is very strong. The color of the basket is more of a dark gray than the black pictured on the listing.

Good idea. The magnet is weak and the waste catcher falls off far too often for my taste.

It works great until it falls off, weak magnet is the problem.It is adjustable so you put it where you need it.It is a little hard to clean but not bad.Back to the magnet, you can get a rubber armored rare earth magnet from K&J Magnetics that fixes the issues .It slides over the stud with original magnet still inside, make sure you get poles rite.One side will stick better than the other, when you take basket off the mag stays on the clamp.

After many years of grabbing a kitchen bowl to set on my tying bench, trying to catch the flying detrius of my efforts, missing some, and still having to drag out the vacuum or face the wrath of my wife, while insisting it was a waste of my time and money to buy something like this, I finally bit the bullet.Wish I had done so years ago; I swear this catch basket is magnetic for collecting whatever I drop or cut off the flies, until I finish, then releases it all to the trash can with a little shake!
