Tecmolog pop-up drain specifically made to fit most vessel sinks. With a light tap the plug moves up and down to control drainage.
The diameter of sink drain is 40 mm and fits vessel sinks with 41-56 mm drain holes.

Installation Method:
1. Removing the nut and lower gasket from the drain assembly
2. Inserting the drain assembly (with the provided gaskets under the flange) into the sink drain opening from the top
3. Reinstalling the gasket and nut from the bottom, and reattaching the p-trap
Kindly Reminder:
Since it comes with two gaskets that fit together to seal the drain flange in the sink (plus a separate gasket for the bottom).

I could not get this to seal in the sink (upper seal) with the seal provided, but this could have been due to an imperfection in the sink surface (or in the seal). In any case when I resorted to using plumber's putty instead, the results were perfect. Satisfied in the end.
