Not much to say about a new PCV valve. It came quickly, it was priced nice, it's a good product company for standard replacement car parts. After 50k miles(or more) my old valve didn't seem damaged or stuck (same brand). I was losing oil and knew it was overdue to be replaced even if the old one seems fine. That's just telling of how well they are made.(I saved the old one to clean and see if there's a difference because it didn't look bad at all, and if not, I won't have to buy one again.)Whatever you decide about cleaning and keeping or replacement, you can't go wrong here.I can only hope your situation for needing to mess with it over loss of oil IS the answer. Other reasons only get worse from here. 😥PS. Exhaust smoke doesn't always happen over burnt oil, and if that's a symptom, this isn't gonna fix your engine oil loss. Or the engine itself.

Seems to be an exact replacement for the original which broke while removing for inspection.Installed this new one and the car is running fine. 1995 Toyota Tercel hard to find parts sometimes but Amazon had it in stock and delivered to me the same day. Very Impressed.

The valve fit as required but I noticed that there doesn't appear to be anything provided to keep the valve closed other than gravity. I'm not sure if that is normal but the OEM product remains closed unless under vacuum. If the valve is in any position other than directly up and down it may not close properly.
