I bought this pcv valve. When I got it and took it out of the box looked like it was used and failed the air test it let air in both ways and gave zero resistance for air coming back in.

Opened and immediately noticed tracer marks from a wrench or socket, then I noticed the seat at the bottom is crooked, then I did the vacuum test and air flows freely both directions, used and broken/defective. wouldnt buy again, sad to see from a name brand parts supplier

This is a direct fit for the EOM valve. It appears to work the same way: rattles like the old one, lets air our, stops air from going in, but something inside it squeals with the engine running making me believe that I had a cam or fuel injector problem. I cleaned up the old one with brake fluid and reinstalled and the issue went away. This might be a good item to go OEM for.
