Beautiful product - unfortunately the crystal part arrived with a chunk/chip in the center.. very disappointed as it affects the overall beauty of the lamp.

Got this for a smaller room. It is attractively packaged. One thing I will say is the true bulb is way too strong. I replaced the 25-w bulb that came with it with a 7-w bulb, and that works perfectly. The 25 gets way too hot for this relatively small piece of salt, and makes me afraid the thing is gonna cause a fire hazard. I have multiple salt lamps of various sizes in my house, so I know a thing or two about what wattage of bulb goes in which size of salt lamp. I'll be using that 25-w bulb for one of my larger lamps.

I keep it in the bathroom with 7W bulb in it where there is still an old fashion paper wall, and guess what it did not burn my house. I am definitely getting a benefit of a negative ions fighting the positive to clean the air. If your are worried to use the attached 7W bulb, use the 4W. With LED light bulb you get the orange color but the negative ions to clean the air need warmth. It is up to you. Use the light balb that is recommended and written on the side of the socket you can use the lower wattage but never higher because higher one could present the fire hazard.

I don’t trust how hot this gets at all. It sits close enough to the wall and gets hit enough that I’m actually concerned about it setting the wall on fire due to the wall paper. It’s also far too bright for a night light; you can read by this thing.Lastly, the weight is concerning as well; it drops away from the socket. I think if a child or animal were to bump it, it’s drop right out of the socket. And as hot as it gets, that would absolutely be a fire risk.I’m going to replace the bull with a LED of a much lower wattage which will take care of at least the first two points. I’m not worried about it “needing” to be warm because I know the “health properties” of salt lamps is a load of crap. I bought this because I thought a dim orange glow would be nice at night. As it is out of the box - there’s no way I’d want this on while I’m asleep. I think it’d be as dangerous as leaving a candle lit and going to bed.It is pretty. I’ll give it that. And that’s why I’ll put a safer bulb in it and keep it.

It did not look even close to what was posted & advertised, the color is white not Pink or Red which that is why I ordered it, since it is white the Light illuminates way to bright, can not be considered Night Light, I need to return it back, but need to contact someone, any phone number ? or store I can take it back?

My husband wanted a nightlight for our bathroom so he could shower without the harsh, very bright overhead light on in the morning. So it needed to be bright enough to provide enough light, but diffused enough not to irritate groggy early morning eyes.Neither of us particularly believe that salt lamps of this side “do” much of anything, so I surely thought he was going to scoff at my suggestion of this nightlight being the solution. But he agreed that this looked nice and do the trick. And it does!I like that it has a swivel base so we could easily plug it in the orientation we need. The switch is a soft toggle so there isn’t a loud click. And the light is plenty bright but nicely diffused by the salt attachment. It looks nice. but yeah, you’re certainly not going to get any of the benefits of Himalayan salt from something this tiny or a bulb this soft. So buy it for looks, not for any mythical healing powers.

I bought this for my bathroom, to have some tranquil, warm light for baths and the evening. It is PERFECT! It's clearly well-made, both the base (very stable) and the salt lamp attachment (smooth, clear material with beautiful colour). It actually produces a lot of light in a small room. Love how affordable this is for the quality!

I absolutely love this lamp!!! It is solid, looks amazing, and lights up the guest bathroom well enough that no other light needs to be turned on. I have it on the side of the mirror. The light is soft, sort of amber colour- flattering!!!

The lamp emits a soft glow - perfect. Unsure if the health benefits are real, but the lamp is perfect for my needs.

Really like this light. Using it in daughters room as nightlight, I find it a little bright for a night light but daughter has no problem with it. I also really like that it has a on/off switch. Good value for money and would make a nice gift.

This is a bright “night” light. I use it in the bathroom, so if I get up in the middle of the night I don’t walk into a wall or counter and don’t have to blind myself by turning on the lights. It’s perfect for that! I can see it being too bright for a night light depending on if you can sleep through light or not. It creates perfect ambient light. After this, I bought another company Syntus, because I could get 2 for a cheaper price. This brand stays fully in the outlet isn’t strained at all. Syntus brand i don’t know what’s different, they look almost identical , but they start to lean out of the outlet....seems like a fire hazard. This is definitely the better brand. And as some others said yes, it does get warm/hot, but the salt crystal does and it’s not enough to burn you or anything like that - it gets warm like a heating pad, which doesn’t worry me. However, if it ever does worry me I’m def going to take another persons suggestion of getting LED bulbs.

I plan on buying more! I love the colour and clean cylindrical shape. I was surprized at how much light the 7W bulb gave-off. I was tempted to buy another himalayan night-light with a 15W bulb but this one had enough light. I left it burning all night and it just stayed a little warm. Some people have said that their night-light salt lamps get very hot. But this one didn't in my home. Recently, I swapped out the original incandescent bulb for an LED bulb. Both gave off similar amounts of light and neither burned hot. But since I want to leave the light on 24/7, I think the LED will be cheaper on electricity and last longer.

We bought four of these. All are Paler color then shown. They are White/light pink colouring which makes them really lovely. A bit too bright to leave on for night light (in my opinion) but perfect for the bathrooms, foyer and to have for kids to turn on if they need light. Would buy again!
