It's all made out of plastic BUT perfectly dampens external vibration and the pop filter work amazingly. Worths the price. Recommended.

The Ember is one of the latest in the Blue family of Microphones. A solid condenser microphone with good pick-up characteristics that helps round out any Microphone collection for a reasonable cost. Blue makes some of the best microphones on the market fora generally mid to lower cost and the Ember does not disappoint.
