Important Instruction:

DO NOT turn the gas flow too small, keep working under small flame will cause the fire burning inside the combustion tube, which will heat the tube into red and damage the ignition and other parts inside the propane torch.
This is the most frequent user claim, which is resulted from wrong operation.
Medium Flame is OK
Medium flame is OK operation.
As long as the flame color is pure blue, the operation is safe.
Propane torch head is recommended to start under the medium gas flow, too strong gas flow will extinguish the spark when igniting. User can turn to the full gas flow after successful ignition.
Large Flame is Recommended
Large flame is recommended !

Recently purchased this to replace my old torch for an epoxy project. The value on this package was pretty awesome for the quality of the product. I love the trigger mechanism and the size of the adjustment dial. The igniter has worked flawlessly, and the heat output is consistent.

This one is awesome. The triggering ignition is one thing, but the main feature is the knob that can adjust the flame output. This is very useful when soldering smaller pipes.

I always used to spark my torch manually but decided to buy one with an auto trigger/push start. I'm glad I did. No need to fuss around looking for the manual sparker. easy to use. Flame is strong on the nozzle. Just hope the start trigger lasts long.

I have to sweat off an old outside garden faucet, and the heavy thing looks like it will need a lot of heat. This cylinder is great that it can be shipped, and I don't have to go to the hardware store. I had a problem with the nozzle, in that it clogged up right away. However, the vendor sent another one without question. I am very impressed.

With in a month the ignition became hit or miss. By month two the ignitor worked less then 1 in ever ten clicks. Now it won’t ignite no matter how many times you click it

It works great when it is up right, but if you tilt it at an angle to burn something on the ground the torch blue flame goes out and it starts spitting out orange normal flames.

I purchased this to light the pellets in a smoke generator. I have used it approximately 5 times, for about 1 minute each time. It worked well, until today. It lights, but the flame is so small, it’s useless. I tried a different bottle of propane (brand new), thinking that maybe the bottle I was using was empty, even though it still felt full, and same result. The torch just won’t let gas flow. Very disappointing. This is such a simple product, how do you screw up the design????

Before purchasing this unit, I read through all comments here, and many complaints are about the ignition and shut-off during usage. After I got mine and been using for days, I did not found anything wrong with this torch, if using it properly. In my opinion, this is a great torch with good price. It is a entry-level torch but still can meet most needs for ordinary people like me (i.e. not professionals making a living on this). I found almost all user complaints are rooted to one thing: that this torch is direct-input torch head just as same as the Bernzomatic WT2301. So the bottle pressure dominates everything: Cannot ignite? Just turn to low the gas knob when pushing the trigger. Shut-off when inverted? Of course it will extinguish when inverted, since it does not have anti-flare and that is why it is cost much less than those high end models. Shut-off during using? Check your environmental temperature, this is probably due to the surrounding temperature is too high and the bottle pressure goes up, it is not the torch’s problem but the bottle’s, bring the bottle to some cool place for a while may solve the problem. Similarly, flame is too small? Maybe this is because you are using it in ice cold winter and the low temperature cause the bottle pressure too low, use some hot water to warm up the bottle. See? Almost all complaints can related to the direct input design and could solved easily. you get what you pay for, and you work with what you have at hand, simple as that
