Das ist mal ein vernünftiger Step-Up Ring. Aus Messing gefertigt ist der deutlich stabiler als aus Alu.Man denkt sich sicher: was muss daran stabil sein? Bei wem sich ein Aluring mal festgefressen hat weiss wovon ich rede. Aluringe verformen sich sehr einfach beim Anfassen, was dem Lösevorgang leider entgegenwirkt. Messing ist deutlich stabiler. Zusätzlich gibt es noch schöne Riffelungen auf der Aussenkante, damit die Finger nicht abrutschen.Es gibt nur einen Punkt Abzug für ein Feature welches ich hier vermisse: die Innenseite sollte eine Leichte Gummierung haben, damit Reflexionen vermieden werden.

Wow, that was my 1st impression, wow. The CNC machine quality of these product's are amazing. I worked in the Aerospace Ind. and 5 axis CNC machines were used. The Brass Step-Up Ring's screw on and come off my lenses easy, no fighting to get them off. I have ordered second 49mm-72mm Step-Up Ring for one of my other lenses from Breakthrough Photography. Incredible Quality, I can highly recommend this company to family & friends.

They don't get better than these step up rings. They are a bit expensive buy but worth the price you pay. Easy to put on and easy to take off.

There is no disliking this product.The quality of this item exemplifies why you can use one filter set with multiple lenses, unless duplicating gear is your setup.After decades of using aluminum framed filters and adapters I can’t overstate how this item is not like any of those gritty, glitchy and jammed up sticky “alloy” mounts are.A light touch to install or remove is all that’s needed. Don’t squeeze it, just spin it.Value? It’s 10x more $ than “alloy” but you will be happy to have paid for something that works with you not against.Sturdy until you drop it. It is brass after all. But I’ve never dropped a filter in 40 years.

Very well made.Hoya cpl gets stuck on it everytime but that could be the filter not the step-up ring.

This particular adapter ring allowed for a 72mm UV filter to protect the 55mm gimbal camera lens without getting in the way of the aperture. The machining of the ring proved first class.

I own two other, more affordable step-up rings. I've always wished they felt more substantial than flimsy in use.So I took a chance that this might be better to work with. I wasn't wrong.I noticed immediately that these were much better made rings. The brass makes it much heavier in the hand and helps it screw on better than my old rings. The knurled edge make it so much easier to hold & to use.I feel much more confident using this brass step-up ring than my old aluminium ones.A high quality, well crafted product. It'll last years.Just get it.

I specifically bought this brand because of reviews suggesting the design & build was less likely to result in stuck filters.Not the case for me.Not impressed.
