Does a great job and its easier than the big jug. We had one before and eventually it broke, but i bought a second one, which I think tells you that we like it.

Not my first one but third one. When I first replaced one is when they added that “indicator light” that is supposed to tell you when the filter is due to be changed. I brought back so many of them at the store that the store thought I was the problem. I know other people who also have them and their indicators never worked on theirs either. In about 15 years this is my third system and it’s because the little latch broke off and I needed plyers to switch it between filter and tap. They work very well my solution to the indicator not working is writing with a sharpie the date I replace the filter on top of the filter so I can figure out when 3-4 months have passed. It filters water so well that it tricked a house sitter who didn’t know what it was on my faucet and went to buy me bottled water to replace the one they had drank while house sitting as I keep a 2g water dispenser in my fridge. When I told them it was filtered from the tap they were so stunned they got their own Brita filter.Very easy to install no tools required all is included in the package with the system to install it on almost any faucet. Value for the money is definitely cheaper than bottled water and a lot less plastic in the environment. As for flavour well I give it 5 stars because well there is no flavour to water when you use it and that is what water should taste like, nothing.

I’ve had a Britta filter on my kitchen faucet for over a year. It makes the coffee taste so much better as well as other foods and beverages. I’ve only had to replace the filter once and that time. I believe it’s getting close to being replaced again. But I do notice a huge difference when I have the filtration system as to when the filter needs to be changed.

This Replacement Filter takes less than 2 minutes to install, first remove the old filter with the release button on the Brita Housing, and then install this new Filter that fits perfectly.

This tap filter is very quick and easy to install. The filters are easy to replace and work well to improve the look and flavour of our tap water. I like the chrome option because it goes nicely with our faucet. The key feature of this filter is that you can switch back and forth between filtered and unfiltered water. This is key because I want to avoid burning out the filter when I'm just washing my hands or doing the dishes. However, over time, the filter begins to leak terribly - when I am trying to use the filter nozzle, unfiltered water also leaks out of the tap. There is nothing to be done to fix this that we have found other than replacing the filter. We deal with the leaking for a few weeks to months before breaking down and purchasing a new one. In two years, we have purchased three entirely new systems. The reason I stick with this system is because we tend to have a bit of a stockpile of Brita filter replacements. On the to-do list is finding a different tap filter system for our apartment.

Pro: Water from filter is to be expected (so far) as I have used Brita for many years.Cons: This adapter is much cheaper quality that the previous one I owned a few years ago. The plastic feels thinner and more brittle than Brita's earlier designs. The body is larger and bulkier than the earlier designs and now only has 2 (Stream/Filtered) output options as opposed to 3 (Stream/Spray/Filtered) from the previous design. The light indicator to tell you when to change the filter does not work. Never lit up green at all. EDIT: It seems the "light" is not actually a light. It's a mechanical colour wheel indicator that rotates from green to red to indicate when to change the filter. Brita should update the packaging as it very much looks like a light on the front of the box. (EDIT Apr 18): Indicator never worked. Filter was on for over 4 months and indicator wheel never changed to red. Water is getting into the cavity, which I'm confident is not supposed to have water, with the wheel, which probably ruined it. Overall, terrible design. Go back to previous design Brita. The filter blew off the body the first time I used it making a mess of water. This after hearing the click which should have indicated it was in place.Overall, if this is the quality of the filters going foward, I may be looking for a different brand. I'll see how the quality of the filtered water is going foward.

Every time I go to the store I always forget to pick one of these up. It's a great product and the same as you would get in store. I might be buying this filter only on amazon from now on. Easy to install not much more I can say.

The packaging is nice and it is packaged very well. The build quality of the filter is good. It is cheaper than pitcher filter, but it is more expensive than other filtering solution (e.g. under the sink filter). It filters more than pitcher filter and it is somewhat comparable to under the sink filter. It does not reduce total dissolved solids (TDS), so if you have those TDS testing kit, it will not decrease the TDS. It seems to filter most of the taste and odour of tap water. It is relatively easy to install and the replacement filter works well, but it seems to get "heavier" over time. After replacing the filters a few times, it seems the whole system will have some leaks. If leaks does occur, you need to remove the entire system from your tap and reinstall it again and the cycles continue. If I only consider the filter, then it's 5 star, since everything is as described and it seems to filter the taste and odour of the water quite well. But considering you may need to reinstall everything about once a year, I think I can only give it 4 stars.Overall, it seems like a good product. It's not the cheapest but it does filter the taste and odour of the water. It can filter only things as well, but I have no way of knowing if it can filter it or not. I just have to trust it can since it have a certificate and it seems to filter the taste and odour quite well. If you cannot get other types of filter, and you have to choose between pitcher filter and this one, you should choose this filter.Pros:- Overall good quality- Filter taste and odour quite well- Teas and soup taste better when using filtered water- Easy to install- Good value overall- Certified to filter the things that it states it can filterCons- This con is not really about the filter. It's basically something that you should notice. The whole filtration system (where you connect with your faucet) can leak after some time so you need to reinstall the whole system after about a year.

Worked great until it didn't! I lived in a neighborhood where the water in the summer is almost undrinkable. Some people claim they don't notice a difference in the taste, but I can assure you when you can taste minerals like you can where I live, you will notice a gigantic difference when using this. I had it for long enough that I was perfectly happy purchasing another after this one stopped working!

Just bought one of these Sept 29th, installed on October 2nd, so what happens today October 24th? A spraying leak along a seam line along the bottom of the filter (along the right side of chrome casing about 1/4" from the line where the chrome and black plastic filter casing come together). I have been happy with these until now... Can't return it after using it, and I don't want to buy a whole new filter system so I bought a replacement. Hoping this was a fluke, may get more stars if the replacement works out.11/2/13 - operating with a new filter cartridge, so far, so good...increasing rating from 1 to 3 stars. Hopefully the bad cartridge was an anomaly.11/20/13 - added 1 more star to 4, so far, so good. No leaking.
