Easy enough to replace, and install on the existing ceiling bracket and plug in, but it was a little expensive buying two of them, but it’s worth it for being safe and protected, I only have to figure out now how to connect the orange interconnect wire for both alarms

I replaced my previous 3 BRK 9120A (without batteries) smoke alarms, with these BRK 9120AB (with batteries) smoke alarms. The mounting plates were already in place, so installation involved just plugging in the new set of wires -very easy. They all tested fine.
