Fantastic filter! Recently moved to a home with a well. The only filter on the well was for sediment. After researching under counter water filters, the Brondell filter was highly recommended in several unbiased reviews, such as Consumer Reports. Instillation was a breeze and the price was right. (Buying jugged water was expensive and time wasting.) More important, my tap water for drinking and cooking is clean and fresh. I now have zero concerns regarding the quality of the water I am drinking. Thanks Brondell, for a greater home health product.

I had been using a pitcher filter and was getting super annoyed at the slowness of the filtration. After much research I zeroed in on this model because of its certification and the vast number of filtered chemicals, heavy metals, etc.! I was dreading the install as I am not a plumber just a diyer. But I need not have worried, I was very happy with the easy install. First I read the manual, which is well written and easy to understand, definitely guiding the process. Unfortunately for me I had to drill into my granite composite sink for the additional hole for the faucet. Two things that helped me accomplish this task were the diamond tipped hole saw I wound up buying at 1/2", close enough to the recommended 7/16th and the fact (which I didn't realize) that if you crawl under your cabinet you will see several cut outs for additional holes on the underside of the drop-in sink. Once done with that I mounted the faucet, which is a tad smaller than I thought which aesthetically speaking, looks better than if it was as big as my faucet. So that was easy. Of course I had shut off the water supply line previously and now was ready for the T- coupling, all went well with the brass fittings. Then I leveled the filter housing (as recommended) and sunk the screws. Now for the good part, I added the in and out elbows and the filters. I chose to screw in the filters before I mounted the whole assembly because it was easier. Finally I mounted the whole thing and plugged in the water lines, opened the water supply line and waited for leaks. All good! The fittings all worked well, water tastes excellent and it was easy to install.

Very happy with this unit. Flavour of the water is great, all the chlorine and funkiness is gone. When we first moved to Durham we were fine with the water, but if late (probably from being home all day everyday) we can’t take the after taste and getting water bottles is just not sustainable. Unit went in very easy as others described. Made sure we installed the o-ring in the valve and pushed the quick connect tubes in form. No leaks! Looks cute on the sink (like a baby version of the main tap). Good that it has certifications to back up claims. Very glad I took the leap.

Right after the install, everything was working fine. After 4 months, the water flow from the tab has been getting worse and worse. Now it takes 1 min to fill up one small cup. I took all filters out and re-installed them. but the issue was not fixed. I contacted Brondell support and received an initial response 2 weeks after and I sent them a proof of purchase and the product installation pictures. Now it's been a month since I contacted them. But NO OTHER RESPONSE RECEIVED. NOTHING!!!! Very pool customer service and support. Stay away from this product. You will not get any support from Brondell if something goes wrong with the product.

Taste is as good or better than our pitcher filter. Install took 30 minutes and was very easy. I recommend.Update Feb 2021: A year later and the system is still working well but it's time to change the filters. No problem right?Well for some reason the price for a replacement set of filters in Canada has jumped to $150! What? They are $70USD at every store in the US but they are $150 at every store in Canada which tells me that the company has no presence in Canada and every store needs to ship direct from the US at huge markup. If they can't distribute replacement filters in Canada at a reasonable price then go with Watts. $80-90 for a year's worth of filters.

Water taste a lot better than before! The only thing is that it still doesn't filter "hardness" of the water. After I boil I still have white hard residue on the bottom of my cattle. On another hand I don't know if it suppose to filter that :) It was super easy to install and I love that it has an indicator of when to change the filters.

Let me start by saying, this is a great water filter. It was very straightforward to install. The kit explained everything very well. Most everything just snapped together and the only other tools I needed besides my fingers were an adjustable crescent wrench and a screwdriver. It took me less than 30 minutes, taking my time, to install everything, which included removing the unused soap dispenser in the countertop and replacing it with this water filter.I was a little nervous when I had read some of the reviews, people saying the fittings didn't fit or the water was bad coming out or whatever. I'd recommend you just ignore all of those reviews. I have standard US 1/2 inch pipes with the normal undersink shutoff valves with a compression fitting on top. The t-connector that came with the unit was perfect. It fit right in between the feed line and the fitting going to the sink. I love that the fitting has it's own independent shutoff for the water filter so you can turn that off if you need to do some sort of work on the filter system alone. Also, I really liked that the t-connector is all metal instead of a plastic fitting, or even worse, a line tap that pokes a hole in your copper line, which is just awful, I had one of those before. The fitting that comes with this kit is perfect and easily removed at some point in the future if you decide you want to just remove the whole system. Also, I really like the indicator light on the spigot. It's a simple thing, but I like having something to remind me when it's time to change the filter without having to remember myself or put a reminder in my calendar or something. As for the water, it tastes great! It tastes way better than the water out of the tap and it tastes better than the $50 water filter I have to replace in my KitchenAid fridge every six months. We've had different water filters for over 10 years now and the water coming out of this filter is on par with any that I've had in the past. One other thing I liked about this filter was the detailed testing sheet that they have on the product detail page. It just gave us a little extra confidence over some other similarly less expensive water filter systems, that this product had been tested to reduce or eliminate the contaminants in our water that we cared about. It may sound a bit like a commercial, but I wanted to share how thoroughly happy we were with the product and I'm glad this was the one we purchased. Hope it helps you in your buying decision.

Bought this one to replace my aging filter. Installation was a breeze with one minor issue. Water lines Brondell uses a bit different from an old system and I had to replace adapter. Would be great if water lines would be generic so it would be no need to replace adapters.Water quality is great way better than from the old system,Design wise, is it great easy to replace filters and faucet looks very modern.Thank you for great product.

Hardware: Very easy to assemble and install. Came with all parts necessary for integration with standard plumbing. The included faucet is very nice and is well made with a good finish (sturdy with no drips/leaks). Like others, I would have liked a brushed version of the faucet, but it really wasn't a deal breaker. The diverter and fasteners seem solid and the mounting bracket for the filters is nice and sturdy. The 3 filter mounts can each be tilted upward individually for replacing the filters, something I didn't notice mentioned in the description but a great feature to make filter replacements easy.Water quality: The filtered water tastes great and is definitely better than the tap and the single filter (above-counter model) this replaced. There was some initial sediment and a strange oily look to the water until I let it run for a bit. The instructions suggest to let the filter prime itself by running for about 5 minutes...it took closer to 10 minutes before I saw no visible sediment in a glass and trusted the water for a taste. I figure the sediment was from the filters and the oily residue might be in the diverter tubes or faucet from the manufacturing process. Either way, it was cleared with the initial flush. The water does come out a bit cloudy looking but it's just air bubbles as it dissipates in a glass within seconds becoming very clear. I didn't test with a quality meter but the filtered water is a definite improvement in color, taste and smell.Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. The ease of installation and inclusion of all the necessary parts (and excellent quality faucet) definitely make this a good deal. Total time to install from box opening to first glass of drinkable water was about 45 minutes.

Update:Unfortunately I have to downgrade this from 5 to 1 star. The water gives me a stomach ache and makes my stomach gurgle. I stopped drinking the water and felt better. Then I tried again 2 separate times to drink it and the same thing happened to my stomach right after drinking the water. So disappointing. It is not an issue with my water as I can drink tap water without issue (it just doesn't taste as good) and water from my old single stage filter. Unfortunately I'm stuck with the thing since customer service won't return it and I'm not drinking water that makes me sick. what a waste of $100 and time and effort to install.Original review:Just received and installed this yesterday, and so far I love it!! I replaced a DuPont water filter that attached to my faucet. This is so much more convenient and easy to use. Plus the water tastes even better.Installation was a little bit of a pain because we needed to cap off our sprayer attachment and needed a slightly different fitting for our plumbing. If you don't need the adapters it will be even easier. Otheriwise if you (or like me- your significant other!) has a basic understanding of plumbing and is handy, they shouldn't have a problem. We put this in place of our kitchen sprayer I rarely used. It fit perfectly and looks great. It is easy to turn the water off and on and the water flow is quite fast- much better than my old faucet filter.I like that with the 3 stage filter, you only have to change them once a year or every 600 gallons filtered. That makes the maintenance price of filters equal to the one stage system that you have to change every 3 months/300 gallons. So if you're shopping just go with the 3 stage- especially if it's on sale as it is right now!The water tastes great and I am so excited not to have a bulky filter hanging on my faucet anymore!
