Emergency back-up sump pump operated by the pressure of your municipal water supply. No electricity required. The water under pressure will flow trough the pump jet which creates a vacuum and cause the water in the sump to be drawn out into the discharge line in case of power failure or primary pump failure. Construction made from brass for longevity. This pump is essential to complete any type of conventional sump pump application. The municipal water supply have to be at a minimum of 20 PSI at the valve during the operation of the pump (when water is flowing through the pump) and the maximum static pressure is 70 PSI when the pumping operation is completed. The operating valve includes a built-in back flow check valve to prevent and protect the municipal water supply line from any contamination. Capacity : 1200 gallons per hour at 5 feet, 950 gallons per hour at 10 feet, 600 gallons per hour at 15 feet.

J’ai installé cette pompe comme pompe d’urgence dans mon sous-sol. Si jamais il y a une panne d’électricité et que la pompe électrique ne peut fonctionné, cette pompe qui fonctionne avec la pression d’eau de mon acqueduc va prendre la relève lorsque le niveau d’eau de la fosse aura atteint un niveau plus haut. Fini les pompes de secours avec batterie toujours à plat. J’ai l’esprit beaucoup plus tranquille.

Looks like a quality built pump. works great. Removes water quicker than I expected.Install according to instructions exactly, or it will not work. Installation was straightforward.
