Very sturdy strong set, tools are great, light weight and easy to use, they cut through everything like butter.Both my wife and I used the shears which provided an excellent cut to our front yard hedges.

it is what I needed as a set of gardening and trimming tools but quality is not as good and will not last. Spring on my short clipper has already popped. Plastic knobs acting as safety holds already stretching just from a few uses and fighring to slide forward or backward to lock in place

I wanted this set for the pruners and the loppers. I don't have a lot of use right now for the hedge trimmer.The pruners have been great for trimming my house plants and make quick work of that task. They feel good in the hand and have a little bit of a springy-ness while using them. The button on the side allow the jaws to open more when it's pressed towards you, and limits how far they open when it's pressed away from you. And of course the button on top locks them shut. They are quite sharp and make clean cuts, I'm really happy with them.The loppers replaced my other set that I messed up. These have a good weight to them and cut like butter. I've been trimming the shrub/tree that's hanging over the fence from my neighbors yard and it's making quick work of that too. The branches are close to 1/2" thick and under on that tree and it takes no effort to cut. The handle grips are comfortable and don't ever feel like they're going to fall out of my hands.I haven't had a chance to use the other trimmer yet since I don't have any hedges in my yard, but I don't have a problem believing that they will perform equally as well as the other two items.For the price, getting all 3 items, it's a great deal in my opinion. I know my last loppers alone were over $20 for a no-name brand. I'm very happy with this set and actually look forward to cutting branches, the clean up afterwards though, not so much.

The product description picture showing the dimensions of the tools has inverted the inches/centimeters measurements. As an ugly American, I did not catch the fact that the number for centimeters should always be larger than the number in inches. So the tools are much smaller than I anticipated. The "report incorrect product information" link does not work, at least on my browser.That said, I think the actual tool sizes are just fine. This set is quite nice and works well. I think it is a fair price for the set, and the combination of lopper, hedge shears and pruners is a handy one. All of the blades are sharp and cut the designated plant materials easily without crushing live stems.Loppers - They were a convenient weight for me, although shorter than the set I am used to. The action is smooth and easy. They work fine for things I can reach.Hedge trimmers - The blades have an interesting scalloped design. They came very well lubricated. The knob to adjust tension was helpful, as they arrived so tight I would have found them uncomfortable to use. They were fine for their intended purpose (small, live branches of a hedge). They did not do well with even pretty small sticks, but that is what the loppers are for.Pruning shears - Did a very nice job pruning live plants. Sharp, easy to put enough pressure on them to make the cut, no crushing of the plant stems. As negatives, the back side of the cutting blade had not been properly smoothed. It felt almost "splintery", and collected a lot of fuzz if you stick them in your jeans pocket while working. The locking knob was very tight and hard for me to operate, I would even say painful given arthritis in my thumbs. Probably just fine for most users, but it cost them a star for my own use.
