GOOD TOOL

This tool is surprisingly powerful and, with a carbide burr, easily hogged out some embarrassingly bad welds that I had made on some inside corner joints. The supplied collet is 1/4", which is a little big for the 6mm shafts on my carbide burrs. When I tightened the collet on the 6.00mm shaft of the burr, it was only retained by the inside tip of the collet and this allowed it to wobble slightly, causing it to eventually come loose. A PITA.For now I'll put a little shim stock inside the collet to tighten it up a bit.My compressor is a 20 gallon, 6.5 CFM, and at 90PSI, I had no problemsI think that this tool is good value, and is a good addition to my toolbox.

I like the heavy barrel for better control when cutting. I use it almost daily during a auto restoration for cutting out rust and patch panels. I also use it frequently for metal fabrication and cutting out old welds. Works great and would recommend to anyone.

Awesome reach for doing pin bores on mining shovels, haul trucks, and excavators. Lots of power and bit shank does not vibrate loose like mastercraft die grinders. 3 guys at work have purchased product after I let them use mine. Very sturdy built, a bit heavy but i’d Sooner have a heavy quality product over a light piece of crap. Vibration is equivalent to other die grinders. We run shop air at around 120 psi and keep the air dryers maintained to keep moisture out of the tooling. Always oil your air tools to increase service life

Best price I could find anywhere online. The grinder works well but I haven't used it enough to testify to its durability. Other die grinders of similar quality sell for twice the price. Only reason I won't give 5 stars is because the extended shaft is pretty thick. The diameter is smaller than the main body but depending on the bore you are grinding it will be too large to fit inside. Other extended reach die grinders I have seen have a much smaller diameter shaft which is better for bore grinding. Another thing to note is that there is no power adjustment. This makes no difference as every air tool I own that has power settings are always at max, but it might be the difference for you. Bottom line is I wouldn't spend the hundreds of dollars on other grinders as I don't think you will get much more value.
