Intelligent IS
Intelligent IS analyzes camera movement and applies the ideal shake correction method for the shooting situation. For stills, the system selects from Normal IS, Panning IS, Macro (Hybrid) IS and Tripod modes. When shooting video, the system selects from Dynamic IS, Powered IS, Macro (Hybrid) IS and Active Tripod IS modes. With Intelligent IS, you can concentrate on image capture, letting the camera make effective IS settings to help capture a steady image.
Still Image Shooting Normal IS Corrects for a wide range of camera movement when shooting stills. Panning IS Panning motion is detected so that IS does not interfere with desired camera movement. Macro (Hybrid) IS Corrects for shift-type camera shake, which typically occurs in macro (close-up) shooting. Tripod When tripod use is detected, the Image Stabilizer is stopped because it is not needed. Good camera at a good price! The attached photos are taken with it. Macro shots, and Zoom shot. I read reviews about it being tough to connect with your wifi to your mobile device or computer, but I have not experience this issue thus far. I am loving this little camera for day to day use. Get it, you’ll like it!

5 stars because it was the best price I could find! ( cheaper than buying from canon website) Purchased for my 11 year old for Christmas who has a passion for photography. She loved it. I personally don’t find the pictures that great ... I’m not sure if it’s just me , and it probably is I don’t know anything about cameras, and it is a cheaper one, but my iPhone 6 takes better pics I found (again it could be just me lol perhaps I’m not using the best settings). But you get what you pay for. Either way she just loves it so I’m happy with the purchase! Also it would be perfect for travellers as it is quite small and it does include a standard charging outlet (Canada/us) as well as a European charging outlet! I would recommend for anyone who travels or looking for a fair priced camera for their hobby. Or any young photographer exploring their passion!

I purchased this item to take on holidays with me, it did not come with a power cord with the charger so I borrowed my daughter who has the same camera so I could charge the battery. I took a couple of pictures before I left and when I got to my designation. I went to use the camera and had a lens malfunction so following directions on line to remove the battery and replace it fixed itself and when I went to turn it on it the error come back and was not useable so I as forced to use my phone for the two weeks. Not very happy with the product. I do have an extended warranty on this even though I can find it in my mail. I have a copy of when I purchased it. Will be contacting once I get settled back home

So small infact I had to get an L Plate to fit in the hand. (I have gigantic hands however) So I feel like someone with small hands would really enjoy this cameras feel.It takes great instant close up and macro shots. Its zoom is pretty impressive as well. Shooting landscapes is not its strong suit. But its pretty cheap for its capability. But there are some issues.WIFI has been nothing but a headache on this camera, as well as the program for it. I would just get an SD card reader and avoid it all together, but your mileage may vary. The battery is ok, but I expected a bit longer life, So a second battery might be in your cart too if you are going to use it heavily.The screen is not that great you really don’t see its quality until you offload the shots.The lack of a strap is also disappointing, and you may have issue fitting a strap on it.Also because it is so small, any regular tripod shoe is going to get in the way of access to the battery and SD card.Overall it works well, its short comings are understandable in its price bracket, the menu is minimal, and it is easy to navigate. Great intro camera for anyone interested in dipping their toes into photography, The glass is durable so keeping a lens cap on it all the time isnt a concern.

i have been a bit disappointed with the camera after all the hype it received. It has poor stabilization. The button needs to be pressed halfway so it can focus and then you take the picture. This doesn't work well for action or quick shots. The image you see on the view finder after taking the picture makes you think you have a poor shot. Fortunately the result is better when dowloaded to a computer. The distant shots are not as good as I was expecting. All in all it is definitely second to my phone (a samsung A8 not even S8). I was able to take pics of lights at night and did get accurate colours on my sunset shots which neither my phone nor other point and shoot camera could give me.The delivery time was Excellent. Camera is lighter than expected and very easy to hold and maneuver with one hand. I don't use the video yet nor the wi-fi so there's still more exploring to do.

Muy buena cámara si lo que buscas son mejores fotos que un smartphone pero sin llegar a una cámara profesional. El zoom de 42x con la estabilización óptica está increíble. Great camera for the price. I'm not an aficionado by any means but I enjoy taking photos. This camera is compact, easy to use and the zoom is quite exceptional. I've been quite far away from my subjects and the image quality is still quite crisp. Best bang for your buck in my opinion

Lo compre para un regalo y la verdad es que si esta muy buena la camara, por lo que me costo es una camara desente, logico que no es para uso profesional pero si tiene una muy buena.Se pueden pasar las fotos desde wifi, descargando una app desde tu celular o computadora, sin necesidad de conectar por un cable o retirar la tarjeta de memoria.

Camera works amazing. It's nice and small and easy to carry around. The zoom on this camera is out of this world. It's awesome especially for the price. I came to Amazon looking for a camera to take on vacations and trips. I only ever use my iPhone for pictures, and wanted to invest in something slightly more professional that wouldn't break the bank. I am in no way a photographer, but this camera sure makes me feel like one. It's the perfect size for travelers, as it fits in your hand perfectly, as it's very small and portable. I think the picture quality is absolutely stunning. I can zoom into a tree from over 100 feet away and it looks as if I'm right in front of it! I haven't taken this camera on my trip to Europe yet, but will update and post the pictures I take once I do. I've mostly just played around with it, taking pictures of my dog or sister. I included a selfie to show the flash - that was taken in a pitch black room. I wasn't even sure it would come out clear, but wow! Look at the quality!One thing I would like to address is the wifi, which might be my favorite thing about this camera as a whole. I contemplated buying the Canon powershot SX410, which is a cheaper, slightly older version of this camera, but opted for this because of the wifi feature. I can't boast about it enough. I can take a picture of something, click on the wifi option on the camera, connect to the wifi from my phone, open the free camera app and send the picture directly from my camera to my iPhone. I can also delete that picture from the camera once I've saved it to my phone, so I'll never run out of space! The battery life is also very impressive and it seems to stay charged for a long time (another reason it's great for travelers). And the time it takes to fully charge the battery isn't long at all.I'm just a person who wanted a cool camera to take nice quality pictures. I'm not a photographer or anything near, but I love clean, crisp quality shots. If you want a small, portable camera that takes AMAZING quality pictures, has a KILLER zoom and flash, and has a wifi feature that allows you to share your pictures on social media in the matter of seconds after taking the picture, this is for you. This camera should be so much more expensive that it is because it's absolutely amazing. 10/10 recommend!
