It was incredible for the first few weeks, and actually moved the way a snake does. But even when charged, thereafter, it was more like a turtle. Disappointed, because one of my kitties really liked it before. That said, I will keep it for Halloween, as I'm sure it will do a great job of scaring someone.

This is made a hard plastic and therefore clatters loudly across hardwood. If you are looking for something for your cat to play with while you are reading or working, this isn’t for you.I was impressed with its ability to back up and go in different directions, until it stopped working within the first week. Now it hesitantly starts and stops while going in a small circle.I see no way to return this and I already paid to have it shipped to me. It’s one of Prime’s products that isn’t covered under the annual fee for free shipping. Which I thought was the point, when I signed up.

remove hair and dust from the front wheel and it will always works like a charm, my cat loves it.

This is maybe one of a million toys my cat is in love with and doesn't get sick of. It moves pretty quickly and keeps her occupied for a long while. Sometimes it gets stuck at a wall and doesn't back up, however she has learned to move it herself. Main issue is the little wheels in the front easily pick up lint and hair and they stop spinning. This happens more than twice a day where I need to clean it out , would be higher rated if there was an easier way to clean the wheels. I'd still recommend the toy but be prepared to on using a super tiny flat head screw driver to fish out the hair.
