I use it in combination with another Columbia jacket underneath but it is incredibly warm. The only downside is that I sweat in it (which I never do) and it gets wet and I have to wait for it to dry. Also, speaking of wet, if it gets wet, the water just comes right in. So it isn’t good in the rain.
