Feels very cheap, for one. For two, the rubber washers it comes with are too small for the 1/4" screw it comes with. This makes it unable to attach to the camera. For three, it is too lose to fit on my Sony camera. Definitely returning it.

Very happy with it. I hate using straps, so this makes the camera feel a lot more secure in my hand

Just as described, I already had one of these on my Nikon D7100 and I bought this other one for my D750 and it fits perfectly. I would not hesitate to order a 3rd one if needed to.

The rubber part holding the mini plate seems to me a little flimsy, but otherwise, I am fully satisfied.

Conventional camera straps are good for what they're designed for: carrying your camera around your neck and keeping your hands-free when your DSLR is not in use. But they are not always the best choice for street photography, shooting sports, quick action shots, or when going from handheld to tripod. The is a good solution for any photographer on the go, and in almost any environment. This hand strap has an adjustable Velcro-type strip, and the plate is made of black anodized aluminum. In terms of use, this means that you can put the camera onto your tripod head in seconds, without removing the hand strap at all. This product comes in a straightforward cardboard box, and inside is the hand strap, the Arca-Swiss style mini-plate, a camera mounting screw, an Allen wrench to tighten the camera screw, and a small split ring for other mount alternatives. Setup is fast and easy, and the Velcro-type strip allows for fast adjustments of the hand strap in the fly. The Arca-Swiss compatible mini-plate has a standard ¼-20 UNC screw mount, so that once it's installed to the camera and adjusted, you're ready to go. Have tried this with my and another from Manfrotto, and the fit is excellent on both. This has been used on a couple of Nikon DSLRs, one with a battery grip and the other without. It's almost a given that that it would easily fit the plain DSLR body for which it was initially intended, but the pleasant surprise was that it easily fit the camera with the battery grip. When shooting with a longer lens, such as the , the added stability and handling is quite noticeable. It's excellent for use when taking those one-handed candid shots that come up so often. One small but important note: a friend was interested in my hand strap, but we found a problem where it would not fit properly. Mounting the Arca-Swiss compatible mini-plate interfered with opening the battery door on the base of the camera, which could be a nuisance in the field when you need to change batteries. Before ordering this hand strap, take a moment to measure your camera base from the center of its tripod socket to the battery door. If that distance is ¾" or less you may have issues opening the battery door; if it's an inch or more you shouldn't have any problems. The is a good one for the photographer who prefers having the camera at the ready, in hand and geared up for that next shot. It lets you shoot handheld compositions with greater stability, and the Arca-Swiss compatible mini-plate allows for fast transitions from handheld to tripod with heavier camera bodies and lenses... and without the neck strain of a conventional out-of-the-box strap. It's a good one, and why I have a pair of these.JW ▪ 4/14/2014

I have an Induro BHD2 ball head that uses the arca-swiss adapter. With this hand strap, I am always ready to use my tripod at anytime without having to grab a separate arca-swiss plate. I am using this hand strap on a Canon 5D Mark III with no battery grip. For awhile, I have gone without a strap on my camera, but I figured, just to be safe, I should start using one.Build: The build is good. The hand strap feels very sturdy. If you have tactical gear, then the straps are very similar to the heavy-weight nylon that's generally used. The arca-swiss adapter is very nice and doesn't feel too cheap.Comfort: I have used other hand straps in the past and have returned them all, but this one in particular feels very good. I can still reach the shutter button just fine and it doesn't feel like it's loose, and I have small hands.Price: It's a great deal, considering the hand strap alone costs more.Something to note about the arca-swiss adapter, as you can notice from the picture, it doesn't have the stop pins on it. This means that it will slide around if you fail to tighten down your ball head, so be careful. The added screw hole on the adapter is an appreciated touch because I frequently use a swing strap (Black Rapid), required when my wife or someone else besides me is using my camera.Overall: I would highly recommend this hand strap combo, especially if you have a tripod head that has the arca-swiss adapter. The hand strap is comfortable and the arca-swiss adapter is appreciated. Would I buy it again? I sure would!UPDATE: ****** 01/28/2014 ******The cotton carrier strap and acra-swiss adapter combo has been great. I've gotten so use to having it that I have found it to be awkward when I don't have one. I've also put away my main adapter plate for my BHD2 tripod head and rely solely on the one that came with the cotton carrier strap. I have since bought another two set of this combo, one for a Canon 5D Mark II (without grip) and one for a Canon 7D (without grip). It's great! I love it.
