Having bought a box of the cheapest flex duct available on Amazon and this one, night and day difference. The cheap one is hard to work, the inner duct is incredibly thin and tears when you're pulling it into a boot, exposing it from the insulation or just looking at it. I lost many feet due to tears, the most impressive thing about it is that they can even manufacture it being so thin and fragile. This stuff has what you're expecting in flex duct a sturdy enough inner duct to be yanked, stretched and pulled. The insulation is easily twice as dense as well. Comparing the two, this one is absolutely worth the cost.

Give it time to relax as it is really compressed in the box. I doubt you could return this in it's original state. Metal coil supports well and difficult to cut without sidecuts. Good a quality as I've found in stores.

This is the worst flex duct I have ever used. The insulation is terrible and does not stay together. Fibrous dust everywhere. Make sure you wear a respirator with this crap but I recommend buying a different product from a reputable seller.
