Though I have not tested the water for the effective removal of contaminants, I just bought my 2nd filter because we loved how the first one improved the taste of water at the campgrounds we visit. After one camping trip with our 2nd filter we agree this is a great product. I must note that it did not completely remove the excessive rust from the water, but that didn't bother us.

This filter seems to work great. We haven't noticed any taste or sediment since we started using them. Fairly simple to install in line with my pressure regulator. Only thing I'm not crazy about is that when you unhook it seems like you can never get all of the water out of it. I try to keep as clean as possible so I've started putting it in the sink since I don't want to seal it up and store in the underbelly, possible mold.

Much better than the more common brand sold here and at all the stores. Found we got an aftertaste with the other brand but this Culligan has no taste at all. Very pleased

I buy one each year prior to camping. Water is always clear with no smells or weird tastes. Although, I do always flush the lines and hot water tank with filter attached to flush out RV antifreeze. After camping I swap out my old one from hose line that I use for washing vehicles and it seems to leave less water spots when rinsing.
