Our Inner Tie Rod Removal Set is made for use with inner tie rod ends, as well as rack and pinion assemblies.
The long socket slips over the tie rod end and the crow foot engages on the socket for easy removal and installation.
The inner tie rod can be removed and installed without removing the rack.
It was designed for working in cramped conditions where sockets and wrenches just won't work or fit.
Please pay attention to that this kit is not for use with "Saginaw" type rack and pinion assemblies.
These tools should not be used with power tools, but used only with a hand wrench.

It may work for small cars. It totally doesn't work with trucks. In the picture, it's a Toyota 4Runner tie rod and it simply doesn't fit inside this wrench.There is another option on Amazon (red color) - it's bigger. It could work for trucks if tie rods are not over-tightened.

I seem to have had the same issue as others. The tube does not fit over the tie rod, might be close, but that is of no help on a Sunday afternoon.

Only worked for my inner tie rods after i took the grinder to it to modify it to fit. Had I not been in need to finish the repair and get the vehicle back on the road quickly I would have returned it. Likely would recommend getting the Princess Auto version instead.
