They work for me. I was traveling early morning and I saw a moose on the side of the road ready to cross it. The moose was looking at me when I got to him. Just like, he was looking to see what made the noise (whistle). He stayed there with both front legs on the pavement and the back legs in the ditch. That proved to me that they work.
