Delta has provided us with a very nice shower arm here. Immaculate mirror finish chrome, perfectly machined Canadian/American NPT threads (unlike 98% of the fine 'offshore' product sold here) and it was packaged nicely to mitigate damage in transit. I wish Moen would package their products even half as well as Delta does. I like Moen too, but their packaging is lame compared to Delta.I just wanted to add that 'Mike' below must have neglected to remove the white protective film, which is stuck to the shower arm to protect the finish in transit. The part is NOT white lol, the plastic film is. You peel it off before installing. Purchase with confidence.

Well made and will serve the purpose. Another review noted that even though the shower arm is chrome, they received a base flange that was white. The white color on the flange is from a protective plastic wrap to prevent scratches during shipping. It should be pealed off and discarded at the time of installation (revealing the chrome underneath).

the actual pipe is really nice, but the fact that it comes with a white base (flange) is very disappointing. The description mentions chrome flange, and two pictures shown on amazon show chrome bases (different ones at that). if the shower kit I bought didn't already come with a chrome base I would have sent this back as not as advertised.

Good quality chrome pipe. We used it to hang a new rainshower fixture, and the chrome matched up perfectly. Received it fast and well packaged.

Needed this for a ceiling mounted rain head. Did the job perfectly. Its a quality piece. Glad I went with this one and not one of the generic cheaper ones. When you hold this thing, you can tell its a quality piece.
