The fabric is polyester, not cotton. The ring does not come out. Fabric was crinkled due to vacuum packaging. I soaked the entire canopy in the tub and it is now in the dryer, ring and all. I am checking it every 10 minutes for damage. Will probably have to iron it. If that does not work I will return. No response from the vendor email on the package. Not pleased.

I bought this because the description listed it as cotton. When it arrived it was easy to assemble, looks beautiful. But its 100% polyester. 2 stars because its pretty, but advertising it as cotton is shady. Now I'm back on the search for a cotton one.

This canopy has some pluses. The fabric is nice, feels like microfiber sheets and it's not thin or skimpy. Also, it's prehung with the hoop already in place so in theory it should be ready to hang right out of the package. However, the canopy is very wrinkled and the wrinkles don't hang out on their own. My photo shows after I steamed with bissell and the wrinkles are still there. So now my dilemma is do I remove the ring and put the canopy in the dryer or do I iron it on the ironing board?
