Works great. Can adjust the sensitivity and strength. We used it on our tiny Chihuahua and he learned quite quickly what be quiet means and now we just have to hold the collar to get him to stop quickly. He also stopped crying in the middle of the night for cuddles from his kennel because he had it on for a few nights.

I was surprised to learn that, at least so far, just the sound alone stops my dog from barking! I have used a shock collar in the past, and it seemed to hurt her and made her cower. That is not what I wanted to accomplish. This collar gives you three different responses and, so far we have not gone past the sound response. There is also a vibration response and a static shock response. I am very satisfied with this purchase. My dog is a little “yappy’ Yorkie!

Only had this for a couple months and was great at first. My dog had finally stopped barking. The charge would last a good week without alot of barking. Now after a month of use ( my dog doesn't go outside and collar never gets wet) the charge doesn't last a day. Im now looking for another collar. My dog has learned that with one bark and she doesn't get a beep, which could be in the middle of the night, she goes nuts again with barking. If im paying $40 for a collar I would at least would like it for 6 months.

I have three very barky Shih Tzu Maltese fur kids. They bark at everyone pretty much.I’ve purchased several different brands the past couple of years and none of them worked much or for very long. These are the very first to work on the very first day, first hour i can’t believe it. The house has not been quiet for years and we finally have a calm home.I highly recommend these collars. I have them all on vibrate, sound and the lowest shock at 1 and it’s worked wonders. It’s been six days and wow.

Item works well from the beep to the buzz. I removed the prongs and never tried the zap at all. My dog is shih tzu pomeranian and very yappy when people make noise at our condo door. It has helped by turning 20 barks to 3 and a grumble lol. Seller is extremely responsive and helpful

As with much of dog training - or at least, how I was taught - is to get the dogs attention. At that point, you can start correction, but if you don't have their attention, well - nothing much is going to work. Without harming the dog, this device helps you to achieve that attention getting moment. The unit is very solid. Both in how it feel in term of its construction, and in weight. This would not be for small dogs. With an IP68, the unit is very much waterproof. No issues at all in any type of weather. Of course, you would never use such a device with a dog in water! The collar material is like a car seat belt - very strong. The strap can adjust easily and has a standard buckle for attachment and release. I applaud the makers for putting the two controls on the back side of the unit, the side that touches the dogs throat. It means you must take the unit off to make adjustments. But the unit is not meant to be left on all the time. The controls on the back help to reinforce that rule. You receive long pins and short pins, depending on the hair the dog has around its neck area. There are also rubber nipples to cover the exposed pins, both long and short. In addition, you are supplied with a multi-tool for removing and replacing the pins, as well as testing the shock pins. You can use the device as sound alert, sound alert and vibration, and sound alert, vibration and shock. You also have control over the amount of each one of these corrections. For us, our dog is responding well enough to both sound and vibration. The vibration seems to be the most effective as it shakes him in his throat area. That's a new sensation for me, and he's not sure about it. But is does accomplish the mission - to disrupt his barking at other dogs or new people.Bottom Line - A very effect tool. One of the most unique features, is a counter for how many times a barking occasion happened. Not to be left on, but I must admit that after a hour walk, I have lost count on how many time barking happened. This allows me to figure out just how many times barking happened, and how were are doing on a daly and weekly basis. Rugged, waterproof, simple to use.

I liked this option for the ability to remove the shock prongs. We have been exclusively using the beep notification so far with an 14lb sassy shitzhu who loooves to yell at the neighborhood and so far so good. The only drawback so far, as mentioned in other reviews, is that even if the dog wearing the collar is behaving, a loud bark from another dog in close proximity will set off the collar. In addition, the size is a little cumbersome on a small dog . He doesn’t hate wearing it even though it looks like he’s wearing a house arrest probation anklet around his neck haha
