Product Description

loose rock and gravel binder

Fix Loose Stones and Gravel in Place - Water Based Resin Formula.

Water Based Non-Harmful Binder - Easihold is a water based, non-harmful, easy to use binder that leaves stones permeable, with a protective sheen. Easihold is recommend to hold in place clean stones, 4mm to 20mm in diameter. Easihold is not suited to vehicle traffic or regular / heavy duty traffic.

Easy to Use DIY Product - Easihold is perfect for use on new or existing stones. Dirt and silt deposits ought to be washed off prior to application - and ensure the weather conditions are good for the 48 hours post application.

3 Easy Application Methods - Easihold is applied by 3 different application techniques - Pour On, Spray On or Mix In.

Keep your backyard tidy with Easihold

lkm

Pour On

COVERS 6-8m2

Easihold can be poured from a watering can. Ensure you use a watering can with a steady flow that is dispersing the Easihold liquid evenly across the stones. This method is quite straightforward, without the use of specialist equipment and ensures good penetration into the stones.

The one main consideration with this method, and all methods of application of Easihold is using too much. Applying too much Easihold in one application will not lead to a stronger finish.

Trowelled Finish

Spray On

COVERS 12-14m2

Easihold can be spray applied using a standard airless sprayer. Spraying Easihold limits penetration into the base layer of the stones. Great for achieving a larger coverage but this method won’t provide as robust a surface finish. We would recommend this application method for decorative use only.

We recommend to use 2 applications of Easihold when applying by the Pour On or Spray On method for the strongest finish.

Resin Gravel

Hand-Mix

MIXES 6 x 25kg BAGS OF STONES

Sometimes pouring and spraying can risk splashing your paving, or surrounding areas. In these circumstances you can mix Easihold with your stones until they’re evenly coated – usually 0.8 litres is enough to coat a standard 55lbs bag of stones. The mixing method leaves the strongest finish - ensuring the stones are evenly coated throughout. You can typically only use this method of application with new stones - mixing with old, dirty stones could be difficult.

Use Easihold in planters, flowerbeds and displays.

How to Guidance!

Weather Conditions:

It’s important you apply Easihold in the right weather conditions. Warm weather and most importantly, dry conditions for the 48 hours after application will give you optimal performance from your Easihold binder.

Suitable Stones:

Not all stones are suitable for Easihold application. Stones between 4mm and 10mm in diameter work the best, but even stones up to 20mm can work well if angular and clean.

Application Guidance

What is the drying time? Easihold is air drying so it is important that you do not over-saturate the area being treated. Leave the first coat to dry for 24 hours or until fully dry before applying a second coat.
How many m2 does it cover? 5 litres of Easihold covers between 6-8m2 when poured on. Using more Easihold per m2 will cause the area to be wet and unbonded. For a more robust finish, you can apply two coats (once the first coat has dried).
Is Easihold Permeable? Easihold coats the stones in a thin film, and leaves the stones capable of being penetrated by water as normal.
Minimum Application Temp 8oC Celsius / 46.4 Fahrenheit. Temperatures ought to be rising during application. Less than 5oC / 41 Fahrenheit and Easihold will stop drying. Please note that Easihold can be washed away if it does not dry before precipitation.
What size stone works best? We would recommend between 4mm and 10mm diameter for the best bond. But you can use stones up to 20mm and still achieve good results. Even larger stones can be bonded if clean and angular, but we wouldn't recommend for any foot traffic.
Use Easihold in warm and dry conditions.

Easy hold was easy to put out. The first spray gun stopped working but luckily they sent 2 of them.I did a small job with 9 stepping stones with small pebbles in between. I sprayed the gravel then used the hand tool to turn pebbles. I sprayed a final coat. The pebble stuck together really well & they definitely wont move when I use the blower.Tip for cleaning spray guns.I recommend after use put the gun in a hot bucket of water to soften glue then run the water through it.I still had glue over so I will need the spray guns again.

I purchased 3 x bottles of this to secure the gravel down in the garden and stop the kids from throwing stones everywhere!Really impressed with the product and the finished result. It puts a slight sheen on the stone which I actually like similar to how it looks when wet. The first spray bottle didn’t work and I read a few reviews of people having similar issues but I washed out with hot water and it was fine after that. Make sure you pull the spray nozzle all the way out too! Clear easy instructions and a simple spray bottle to use. I’ve only just applied the 3rd coat but it’s already feeling very solid despite not having had the full time to go off yet.I ran out so had to order more but it’s great that this I was able to get next day delivery before 1.Would recommend and buy again - thanks!

Bought 2 jugs to try on aggregate, didn’t realize until past the return date that one jug was half solidified it’s supposed to be all liquid (it’s glue though and old glue solidifies) so that jug was waste of money. The other jug was all liquid though. Anyway the spray nozzle is useless for applying to a large area, your hand will be killing you as it barely puts any on. But the bottom line is….this stuff just didn’t hold the stones together worth a damn. And I followed the instructions to the letter. Do not waste your money on this product.

Followed the instructions and it worked as promised. Now let’s see what happens over the winter and snow accumulation. Hopefully it will hold up. BUT it’s very expensive!!! Hence the 4 stars. I will update if required.
