Our four rescue cats produce a lot of waste, and we felt guilty going through so many plastic bags. So we created the EcoLeo Cat Litter Waste Bags! Our cat poo bags are compostable to ASTM D6400 (US 2018) and decompose in a natural, compost environment. They are perfect sized for litter box cleaning, convenient, easy to open, thick, heavy duty and will not tear during use. Large dog owners will appreciate the roomy size and handles! Use to replace your plastic waste basket bags or in your compost bin too! Measures 15.5x18.5 inches with gussets expanded.

Not suitable for backyard composting. Commercial facilities may not exist in your area.

One morning, we found ourselves walking into a "high kill" animal shelter to adopt a friend for our rescue cat. Astonished by the number of cats available, we asked to see a cat that was least likely to be adopted and thus euthanized. In the back, was a tiny, dirty, awkward looking tuxedo. We were in love!! Leo blossomed into a goofy cat full of personality and we are so grateful to have found our furkid!

Leo was the inspiration to do more. As an environmental scientist and now, cat rescue volunteer, EcoLeo founder began creating environmentally safe products to raise money for the never ending rescue work. EcoLeo developed into a business shortly after thanks to support from our wonderful customers, for which we are forever grateful. I bought these based on their dimension, as they work in my Petmate Arm & Hammer Swivel Bin & Rake Pooper Scooper, and are much more affordable and enviro-friendly. Not only do they work for that, but I find myself taking these on walks more than the other on-the-roll poop bags because the size is great for my big dogs and the handles are quite nice for carrying. I invested in a litter robot, so I don't use these for cat litter, but these are a great size and I WOULD use them for litter if I needed to. I'm subscribed!

I have been working to remove plastic out of my home and I love these bags for the Litter Robot. They work great, are very sturdy. I recommend them if you are trying to also reduce plastic and replace with earth friendly products.

Je trouve les sacs un peu cher, mais ça vaut la peine comme ils sont compostables. C'est un peu dur de les tenir et de vider la litière à la pelle avec l'autre main par contre. Il faut développer une technique! Ils sont assez robustes pour vider deux fois la litière avant d'être jetés. (J'ai deux chats et je vide ma litière chaque jour.)

I have 9 cats and find these ideal for the morning litter tray clean out. I normally use poop bags and was overjoyed to find finally bags especially for the job. Would definitely recommend if you have multiple cats like me

These bags were already ripped prior to being taken out of the box. Don't know why but bag after bag was taken out and they all looked as if they had been 'sliced' open - very frustrating when you need to use them immediately (for obvious reasons).Came to they conclusion that the majority couldn't be used and therefore they were a complete waste of money.I am always trying to use less plastic but I have been badly let down by a faulty product on this occasion. Will go back to my usual brand and give these a miss in the future.
