Whole roasted insects have a pleasant nutty, earthy aroma. They are small, light, airy, crunchy and have a similar taste to roasted sunflower seeds. Whole roasted insects are a complete protein, boasting all 9 essential amino acids. They are high in B12, fibre, iron, Omega 3 and 6, and many other micronutrients. They are almost 70% protein, have more calcium than milk, more iron than spinach, and almost 20 times more B12 than beef

Nutritional and healthy! Tastes a bit like a malt chocolate drink to me/sunflower seeds.

Bought it because I bought some maggots once in the states and I've been watching fear factor. I've never had crickets before but they're good. Incredibly high in b vitamins.

I come from a culture that eats crickets and so I have a point of reference with this type of ingredient. These crickets are small and terrible tasting. I had just one bite and my mouth was filled with a foul aftertaste and smell. Definitely wouldn't recommend this as a standalone snack for first time cricket eater (because it won't give you the right impression). I've just thrown out the rest. Waste of money for me.

Surprisingly delicious! It definitely needed some salt though. Once I added a good amount of salt they tasted even better. Overall great product! It's mostly just abdomens and heads, very few had legs but I assume it would be hard to keep those on since they're so small and delicate after being roasted.

Arrived on-time. It is nice and crunchy. I like to add a bit of salt to it.

I take issue with the person who commented emphatically that insects are poisonous to humans... 🤣Humans have been eating insects for tens of thousands of years, and currently over 2000 species are eaten *by actual human beings on this very planet*, crickets being among the most common.I find these to be quite tasty and pleasant to eat (although I didn't take a really close look at them before putting them in my mouth 🥴), and I'm delighted to have found something that's so high in protein and vitamin B 12 *and* low glycemic, low histamine, and low carb. My husband said they have no flavor, but he prefers really spicy food, while I've been on a really restricted diet for 2.5 years and have only been able to add salt to my food, so for me these have a distinctive flavor.

You may not expect these to be good- they are crickets after all, but my daughter bought these for her United Nation project and made them as taco 'meat' by themselves they dont taste very good but with a bit of seasoning these are very, very tasty!

My son has an extremely limited diet due to allergies. I once joked that cricket would be a good source of protein, and it might even be safe because he'd never eaten it before. Well the joke's on me because now he can and does eat them even while he is allergic to all but 2 other foods!I can't bring myself to try crickets, but my son does enjoy them -- as much for the entertainment value as for the ability to eat. He carries little baggies of them to offer up to everyone he meets. The consensus from those that are willing is that they don't have much flavor. They are often compared to a peanut or potato chips, where the flavor is mostly whatever gets added.
