My brothers, brother-in-law, dad, and sister-in-law had a friendly rocket building and launching competition. Being my first rocket build, I followed all the instructions and bought this for my rocket, the Estes Cosmic Interceptor. There was plenty of wadding for me to share with my family, and each of us launched our rockets three times in the competition. My brother-in-law had brought paper towels he'd treated with something to the launch site, but abandoned them in favor of the Estes Wadding.Being a rocket launching novice, I don't have much basis for comparison, however, it seemed to work as it was supposed to. All the rockets launched successfully and nothing burned up. I'm glad I had it for everyone to use, as I am not sure anybody other than my brother-in-law or I knew we needed something like this.
