Not everything in the kit fit my water heater but I have an older brand and I didn't have many options but what I did use out of this kit works great. I have used them in my hot water heater for a little over 3 months now and it has been awesome.

Everything was great except the upper thermostat was different and the wires weren’t long enough to connect it. So, I reinstalled the old thermostat and everything is working.

Very nice kit with everything included. I installed on a select water heater. Thermostats are larger than the original ones but they work.

As others have noted, these are slightly longer than the elements that come preinstalled.My only complaint is somewhat universal: I wish the "bolt" was slightly thicker. the kit came with a nice and sturdy tool, but both the old and the new are so thin to grab ahold of that I got a lot of practice in on my "King's English" by the time they were loosened or tighted, as the case may be. I had to repete the cycle, as I did not inclue the new washer/gaskets the first tim I put it back together.Everything I needed (except my screwdrivers) was included in the kit, which was well packaged to protect and sort the various parts. There was no digging around, or accidentally overlooking anything.
