I bought this tool to change my tie rod but it would not fit at all. It was labeled to fit my Chrysler. I ended up having to get a ride up to autozone and buying the expensive one last minute to finish the job. Now I'm stuck with a tool I have no use for. It is heavy duty and very sturdy, but not fitted right for my car

Used this tool to change the inner tie rods on my 2006 Toyota hiace commuter and a few other different cars. Made the job so much easier and quicker. Money well spent

This is a nice tool. It helps out a lot with tie rod removal. We have a car that I don't think anyone replaced much on and if they did it was the wrong parts. The rusted on parts are a pain and the tie rods needed to be replaced. My husband bought this tool. At first he thought it was wrong. He thought it wasn't for the tie rods that we have. However, he was doing something wrong and figured it out with trial and error. It fit perfectly and helped him in the tie rod repair. The case isn't great but it keeps it in one spot. I do think this is a very specific tool and obviously not going to be handy for much else. However, it's better than paying a ton of labor fees for someone else to repair the tie rods.
