I have a bunch of ash rounds that were impervious to my wedge. This worked well and now I'm really sore.

It’s very easy to use, simple tool to get the job done. It’s a little hefty but it wouldn’t be a good buy if it wasn’t. It’s not very sharp but that’s fine did the job I needed it to do. Very affordable and a good quality product that helped speed up splitting logs.

It is a good heavy tree rounds splitter, but soft. Iron, not steel, I suspect.

Very disappointed I didn’t look locally unfortunately, just being honest as it is much more defined with splitting grove’s and progressive ridges/ tine’s on compete unit.Home Depot has the same but much better splitting ability, just as heavy/ strong at cheaper cost and better product.
