This thing is thin, flimsy and cheaply made. For the price, surely they could have made the Velcro-type closure tabs long enough to actually be fastened and stay fastened.

Good quality fabric, went through a couple hard storms already and has held up great. Very easy to put on with the velcro.

I bought some of these for my numerous outdoor fire extinguishers because once your fire extinguisher gets rusty, if the gauge has water inside, if it's too faded (not bright red) it won't pass inspection. My 5lb extinguishers cost about $75 to replace. Putting on a $22 cover is supposed to prevent rust on the extinguisher, water in the gauge and keep them bright red. I'm in Tropical Texas with a lot of sunlight and high UV levels, so I expect that the cover will turn pink in a few years. Better the cover than the extinguisher.Yes the cover is big. It seems rather huge on the little 5lb extinguisher. That's because it can fit over a 10 lb also. It has velcro straps on the back to hold it in place. I took the extinguisher off the hook, put the cover on and put the extinguisher back on the hook. It should stay put even in windy conditions as the back with the velcro will be resting against the wall.I paid 2x for the exact same thing from my fire extinguisher company so I'll buy and install these myself. Going to buy some more. In a few years when these are faded out, I'll leave another review/update.
