Works great until it breaks, the metal parts that are part of the mounting base are very poor quality and snap easily rendering the product useless.

This torch is not brass and is Of very cheap quality. The brass coating comes right off easy the you think it’s copper but it’s not. The copper is just another coating to foil you. TORCH IS ALUMINUM!!!! And is a very dangerous because cheap aluminum melts at very low temperature!!!!

Works out of package as one might expect any cheap torch head to work.The flame is controllable. It does flare sometimes when moving torch around work pieces be it steaks or pipes.The heat does transfer back through brass head after prolonged use.Have used it a fair bit, it is working ok. If anything changes will update with how long it lasted.Update: lasted 2.5 months. Not a good value, will lower from 3 star to 1 because unit is not fixable.

this torch is great for what you pay, nice looking and nozzle is not get very hot like other torch after use.only problem is no self ignite, so you need other lighters or matches, but it's lasting much better than other expensive torch i bought!

Solidly built, works well and the flame is easy to adjust. It does not have an electronic lighter. Therefore it requires a match, cigarette or BBQ lighter for ignition.

Fits the upright butane canisters sold by Canadian Tire perfectly. Torch screws apart in the middle to form 2 very small parts easily stored in a 2.75" bag or container. Torch is very high quality in it's construction and produces an awesome flame which is easily adjustable for both intensity and oxygen mix. I will primarily use it for starting camp fires when camping and also as a soldering torch for emergency motor home repairs.
